LEGAL DISCLAIMER
While Lone Star Lodge Resort and Marina LLC ("the Company" or "Lone Star") adheres to the policies herein diligently, said policies are not legally binding outside of the applicable contracts or agreements made with customers, clients, guests, tenants, or other users of the Company's products and/or services.
CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
These policies are subject to change without notice. These policies apply on a general basis, and may be changed at the discretion of the Company and its representatives to better aid customers, guests, renters, tenants, and others.
General Policies
REFUND PROCEDURES
The decision to refund a guest or customer resides with the Company. Should the Company see fit to refund a payment based on the policies outlined below, the refund shall be to the same payment method the original payment was charged to.
To protect our customers, we will not refund a credit or debit card payment to a different card.
TIMING OF REFUNDS
Once a refund has been approved by the appropriate Company representative (i.e., a manager or accountant), the funds will be released immediately.
Customers will typically receive their refund within two (2) to five (5) business days, excluding holidays. However, Lone Star is not responsible for delays in funding; once the Company releases funds, it is up to the customer's financial institution to credit their account. All inquiries about timing should be directed to the financial institution.
If refunds are taking an abnormally long time to be credited (two or more weeks), please reach back out to Lone Star and we will attempt to assist in contacting your institution.
Lodging Refunds
At the time of reservation, a guest must pay a deposit of at least one night's stay per room.
Lone Star provides a 48-hour cancelation policy for lodging and hotel rooms.

Reservations canceled with at least 48 hours' notice will receive a full refund of the deposit amount.

Reservations can also be moved to a different date range if requested within 48 hours of the original order.

Reservations canceled within the 48-hour window will not receive a refund.

Requests for a date change within the 48-hour window will be subject to a change fee.
Marina Refunds
BOAT, JET SKI, & KAYAK RENTALS
Lone Star provides a 24-hour cancelation policy for short-term marina rentals.

Reservations canceled with at least 24 hours' notice will receive a full refund of the rental amount.

Reservations canceled within the 24-hour window will have $100 withheld from their refund ($25 for kayaks; $75 for jet skis).

No-Call/No Shows will receive no refund.
ANNUAL SLIP RENTALS
Lone Star charges an $800 slip deposit to all tenants. If a tenant chooses to non-renew, this deposit is refundable in its entirety upon settlement of any outstanding fees or balances, in accordance with the tenant's Slip Rental Agreement.
Lease rental amounts are nonrefundable, per the Slip Rental Agreement.
Event Refunds
To secure a date for an event, the client must pay a deposit of at least 50% of the total rental amount.
This deposit is nonrefundable, per the Event Rental Contract.
Lone Star may choose to refund this deposit during extreme circumstances such as a death in the immediate family, natural disaster, pandemic, or other rare occurrence. If you are curious about a refund of the event deposit, reach out to our Events team to see if you are eligible.
This policy does not constitute an obligation to refund a deposit due to the conditions listed above.
