Job Summary
Lone Star Lodge Resort and Marina is seeking hardworking and detail-oriented Housekeepers to ensure our hotel maintains the highest cleanliness and comfort standards for our guests. This role involves cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and event spaces, as well as assisting with laundry duties and event setup when needed. Ideal candidates take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room & Public Area Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies.
Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and dining areas.
Remove trash and ensure proper disposal following hotel sanitation policies.
Report any damages, maintenance issues, or lost and found items to management.
Laundry Duties:
Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
Ensure fresh linens and supplies are stocked for housekeeping carts and guest rooms.
Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and laundry detergents.
Event Setup Assistance:
Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and presentable before and after events.
Assist with post-event cleanup and resetting of rooms for the next use.
General Duties & Teamwork:
Follow hotel cleanliness and safety standards to maintain a welcoming environment.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including properly using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.
Strong time management skills and ability to complete tasks within deadlines.
Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
